Tuition services

At ARC, we understand that everyone learns differently. We do our best to cater for all students and offer a range of services to help students improve. Whether you are looking to develop fundamental skills, just stay up-to-date with classwork or build further on a strong foundation and boost performance, we believe we have something to offer you!

For students in need of extra help, we recommend a combination of one-on-one and group lessons.

Supervised study

Supervised study is a dedicated space for students to complete homework or prepare for an exam with a supervising tutor available to answer questions as needed. Our study sessions are conducted in a quiet environment with a maximum of 10 students at a time.

Supervised study can be booked up to 24 hours in advance, subject to availability. Click here to view our available session times and make a booking. We strongly recommend booking well in advance to secure your seat in your preferred time slots!

Group classes

Group classes are the ideal environment for students to collaborate, discuss and learn together. Our classes are limited to a maximum of 4 students per lesson to maintain opportunities for individual attention for each student from the instructor. Students are grouped based on their chosen course and ability level so that all students can make the most of their sessions. Specific group classes cater differently for students in need of fundamental skill improvement or those looking to further extend their mathematical capabilities.

One tutor is assigned to a group of students for the entire school term or year. Group classes typically run for 60 minutes for Years 7-10 and 90 minutes for Years 11 and 12.

One-on-one tuition

We know that one-on-one time with a dedicated, knowledgeable and supportive tutor can make an incredible difference in student confidence and help to reignite the spark in your child’s desire to learn. These sessions are available to help get back on track or for additional extension that might not come as easily in a group environment.

One-on-one lessons typically run for 60 minutes for Years 7-10 and 90 minutes for Years 11 and 12.

Online sessions

If you prefer, need to, or have simply become accustomed to learning remotely, we can assist via video-conference. Available only upon request - please enquire here.

Whatever you are aiming to achieve, we endeavour to make all sessions both informative and fun. It is our hope that our passion for Mathematics will instil a love of learning in our students and that students will leave our lessons feeling confident and empowered.
